The Institute for Global Safety Promotion (IGSAP) was established in July 2.0 with the aim of contributing to improving worker safety and corporate value through the dissemination and promotion of a new safety concept/technology called "Collaborative Safety/Safety 2016."
"Collaborative Safety/Safety 2.0" is a safety concept/technology for the Society 5.0 era that utilizes digital technologies such as ICT (information and communication technology) to autonomously or heteronomously ensure human safety while people, machines, and the environment share and collaborate with each other to share information. After being disseminated to the world by IGSAP Chairman Mukaidono Masao, who is the proponent and a leading authority in safety studies, it was accepted by many specialized institutions and companies overseas, mainly in Europe, and is currently moving forward with becoming an international standard.
Furthermore, "Collaborative Safety/Safety 2.0" places people at the center, aiming to increase the sense of fulfillment and motivation of workers. In fact, this idea is the result of a major global trend to realize the safety, health, and well-being of workers, "Vision ZeroIGSAP is currently participating in Vision Zero activities as it shares the same vision as the 2022nd Vision Zero Summit Japan 5, and is currently working as a central member of the global Vision Zero movement in collaboration with numerous overseas organizations and companies to promote the safety, health, and well-being of workers.
The initiative is being developed from four aspects: "technology," "management," "human resources," and "rule formation."Holistic ApproachIn particular, in terms of technology, Japan is advocating "Well-Being Tech," which uses technology based on Safety 2.0 to enhance the well-being of workers, and is a world leader in this field as well.
The safety, health and well-being of workers is now one of the most important management issues for companies. By closely exchanging information with many international organizations and companies, we aim to keep up with global trends and realize a society in which workers in both manufacturing and non-manufacturing industries can work in a safe environment, be healthy in both body and mind, and find meaning and fulfillment in their work. We are the only organization in Japan that provides and promotes cutting-edge solutions to achieve this. That is IGSAP.
