Eligibility for the award
The award is given to individuals and organizations that have contributed to the improvement and dissemination of safety, health and well-being in the industrial field (eligibility is not limited to SA holders or companies or organizations that hold SA holders).
Award type and achievements
"Mukaidono Safety AwardThe " Awards for Merit, Achievement and Encouragement" recognize achievements and accomplishments related to the improvement, advancement and dissemination of safety, health and well-being in the industrial sector, workplaces and working environments.

| Incentive award | The target is individuals and groups who are involved on a daily basis in improving safety, health and well-being at industrial workplaces, and the results achieved through the promotion of safety and health at industrial workplaces, education and human resource development, and the application of safety technologies. |

"Mukaidono Safety AwardApplications for the "SA" program are submitted by individuals or organizations who wish to make recommendations, based on these application guidelines. The recommender must be a member of the SA Association, and non-members are also accepted. Furthermore, the program is not limited to SA-certified individuals or companies or organizations that hold SA-certified individuals.

Receptionist
Applications will be accepted upon receipt by the Secretariat of the application form. However, applications may not be accepted if the contents of the application are deemed not to meet the objectives of the award.
Examination
"Mukaidono Safety AwardThe "Award Selection Committee," consisting of experts commissioned by IGSAP and members of the SA Council, will decide the type of award and the recipients of the award based on the award selection criteria. The results will be notified to the recommenders in writing. The results will not be made public except to the recipients.
Announcement of the award
The award recipients, the type of award, and the title of the award will be publicly announced at the awards ceremony, posted on the IGSAP website, and publicly announced in newspapers, etc., and the recipients may be asked to make a separate announcement regarding the details of the award-winning achievements, etc.
