IGSAP organized and dispatched a safety monitoring team consisting of members of the SA Council RSA Subcommittee to the World Robot Summit 2025 (WRS2025) Monozukuri Challenge Competition, which was held at the Aichi Sky Expo from Friday, December 12th to Sunday, December 14th, 2025.

This marks the third time that a safety monitoring team has been dispatched since the first WRS was held in 2018.
The manufacturing challenge competition saw seven teams from Japan and overseas compete to build a system that involved assembling individual packaging boxes, packing three products (detergent containers) inside them, attaching a sticker, and then assembling the three individual packaging boxes in outer cardboard boxes, storing them, and discharging them. The competition was based on speed, workmanship, equipment cost, and equipment safety.
The Safety Monitoring Team reviewed the risk assessment sheets and other pre-submission documents submitted by the participating teams before the event, gave advice to problematic teams, conducted safety inspections the day before the race, provided technical support, conducted safety patrols during the event, and judged the overall safety award.
In addition, the competition utilized safety requirement specifications and risk assessment sheet templates created by the IGSAP Robot Committee and Robot System Safety Subcommittee.
